MDS is pleased to honor two outstanding individuals with the 2026 Stanley Fahn and C. David Marsden Award Lectureships during the MDS International Congress. The Stanley Fahn Lecture Award was created to recognize an outstanding scholar and role-model clinician in the field of Movement Disorders. The awardee has shown evidence of exceptional contributions which have resulted in better understanding of the cause, diagnosis, or treatment of movement disorders, and have translated into meaningful improvements in the standard of clinical practice. The C. David Marsden Lecture Award was created to recognize an outstanding scholar and inspiring neuroscientist in the field of movement disorders. The awardee has shown evidence of exceptional contribution to better understanding of the neurobiology of movement disorders, and translated into tangible improvements in clinical therapy and/or providing insight into normal brain function in the control of movement.
