Case Submissions

Only one case can be submitted by individuals and individual centers. If a country-based Movement Disorders group is collating cases for the country from multiple centers, they can submit multiple cases, but only a single case can be submitted per group member or institution.

A committee with representation from around the world will select the most interesting and educational cases for presentation at the event.

Submission guidelines:

  • Cases should not be presented as an abstract in the Poster Areas. Cases will not be accepted if they have been previously published.
  • Letters of Intent should provide a brief summary of the case including the diagnosis and why the case should be considered for presentation.
  • If the Letter of Intent is selected for the 2nd round, the PowerPoint presentation should include a very brief clinical description and a well-edited video lasting no more than 2 minutes.
  • All cases should have a known diagnosis that will be shared at the end of the presentation.
  • If your case is selected, you will designate a fellow or junior MDS Member to present the case.

Awards will be given for the most interesting and challenging cases.

The submission deadline has passed.
