Functional Movement Disorders: Recognition and Management

In this session, the faculty will use a case-based approach to demonstrate the criteria of inconsistency and incongruence underpinning the clinically-definite diagnosis of a wide range of hyper and hypokinetic movement disorders, permitting a distinction from ‘bizarre’ presentations of other (“organic”) movement disorders. The session will include a review of treatment options.
