Travel Grants

Travel Grant Submissions Are Now Open

The 2019 International Congress of Parkinson’s Disease and Movement Disorders® is offering Travel Grants (in the amount of $1,000 USD each) and waived registration fees in partial support of delegates in financial need to facilitate their travel to and participation in the 2019 International Congress in Nice, France.

To qualify for the International Congress Travel Grant, you must be the first author of a submitted abstract.
If you are applying for a Travel Grant, you must submit your own abstract – do not have someone else submit on your behalf. Please do not apply for a Travel Grant unless you are prepared to travel to the 2019 International Congress to present your research.

Please complete the noted section in the online abstract submission form. International Congress Travel Grant applications will only be accepted through the online abstract submission process.

The deadline for International Congress abstract submissions and Travel Grant applications is Friday, March 1, 2019 11:59 pm (CDT).
Late submissions will not be accepted.

Awarded International Congress Travel Grant funds and waived registration are not transferrable. If you receive an award and your attendance status for the International Congress changes for any reason, your award, in its entirety, is forfeit and MDS will pursue another candidate.

Questions regarding the online abstract submission process or the International Congress may be e-mailed to congress@movementdisorders.org.
