Members of the press and working media can register for no fee for the MDS Virtual Congress 2021

Registration for the MDS Virtual Congress is open and is offered to all participants, including members of the press, at no charge. The MDS Virtual Congress scientific sessions, sponsored symposia, virtual exhibits, and poster sessions will be available on demand for free until October 1, 2021 for those participants who have registered by September 22, 2021.

General Conditions
 

Recording or reproduction of any of the virtual sessions or content is strictly prohibited. Any use of content, the name of a speaker and/or session title, or the name of the MDS without the written consent of the MDS is prohibited. The “content” includes, but is not limited to, oral presentations, abstract presentations, audio visual materials used by the speakers and handouts. This rule applies before, during and/or after the meeting.​


Press representatives may cover all scientific sessions, sponsored symposia, virtual exhibits, and poster sessions of the MDS Virtual Congress. All sessions and content will be available through October 1, 2021. 


 

Embargoes
 

All news releases pertaining to regular and Late-Breaking abstracts presented at the MDS Virtual Congress are embargoed until Friday, September 10, 2021 at 8:00 am CDT (US Central Time). 


 

MDS Press Policies
 

*No exceptions will be made to the following policies:

  • News releases regarding scientific presentations made at the MDS Virtual Congress must be reviewed in advance by the MDS Communications staff and must be embargoed for release until the time of release during the meeting or news briefing.
  • The deadline for all materials for review is September 8, 2021. 
  • Materials may not indicate MDS endorsement or use the MDS logo.
  • Under no conditions will lists of past or current registered press be made available.

Individuals, companies, organizations or institutions found in violation of these policies will have MDS International Congress access revoked.
Additional sanctions may apply.
