A Letter from the MDS Leadership:

Registration for the International Congress in Madrid, Spain has reached capacity and is now closed.

When the decisions for this year’s meeting were being made in late 2021, the MDS leadership felt there was a need to return to an in-person format, but that there also could be unpredictable barriers for many who would normally attend, due to the ongoing global pandemic. With this in mind, it was decided to move forward with a hybrid format, inclusive of a reduced-capacity meeting in Madrid, as well as the capacity to offer all content and sessions on a Virtual Platform.

Registration for the Congress Virtual Platform is free to all MDS Members, and will open July 25, 2022.

MDS is grateful for the continued support and look forward to welcoming everyone back next year to Copenhagen, Denmark, August 27-31, 2023, where we will return to a regular-sized venue. We are confident that everyone who wishes to attend in 2023 will be able to register without issue.

Thank you,

Francisco Cardoso,
President, International Parkinson and Movement Disorder Society

Christopher Goetz,
Chair, International Congress Oversight Committee
